Your Privacy Matters

ParkSpot collects the following information to provide you with our parking location service:

• Location data (GPS coordinates) when you save a parking spot
• Account information (name, email) from your Google account when you sign in
• Device information (OS version, app version) for diagnostics
• Usage data (parking history, session duration) to improve the service

Your data is used exclusively for:

• Storing and retrieving your parking location across devices
• Showing your parking history and statistics
• Sending notifications about your active parking session
• Improving app performance and fixing issues

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Location access is only requested when you actively save a parking spot. Your GPS coordinates are stored securely in Firebase Firestore and are only accessible by you. You can delete all your location data at any time through the app or by deleting your account.

All data is stored on Google Firebase servers with industry-standard encryption. We use Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in. Your data is protected by Google's comprehensive security infrastructure. We retain your data as long as your account is active.

You have the right to:

• Access all data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your parking history
• Withdraw consent at any time

If you use the Auto-Park Bluetooth feature, your paired device's MAC address is stored locally on your device only. This data is never uploaded to our servers.

ParkSpot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of ParkSpot after changes constitutes acceptance.
